December has come and gone, and we are now in the Year New. Many of us have vowed to take better care of our hair and reach certain length goals by the end of 2021.
My main goal for this year is to retention length by keeping my hair moisturised and I can’t think of a better way to start the New Year, then to share my monthly favourites.

Camille Rose Naturals Lavender Spray
This spray is so incredibly great that I have glanced over the ingredients several times to check for the magic potion that gives me moisture for days on ends! This is not only been my monthly favourite, but it has transitioned to my holy grail.
I use this on my hair every day focusing on the driest parts of my hair which are roots and ends. I then press it into my strands especially when I have mini twists installed.
I love how light weight yet moisturising it is. I will say that it is really fragranced with a smell of Lavender. A heads up for those with sensitive noses. It took me some getting used to in the beginning.
Overall, I really can’t wait to try the rest of the line. Side note- It does contain Glycerin which is usually a miss for my hair but surprisingly my fro has had no complaints and it's further down on the ingredients list.

MICHE Leave in Conditioner
I have tried the MICHE leave in conditioner before and I liked it but it didn’t blow me away. However, after a much-needed trim and protein treatment.
I really got to see this leave in conditioner at work as it gave my hair so much moisture and absorbed nicely. My mini twists were moisturised for days afterwards.
I will note that MICHE changed the sizes and some formulations. So, I will provide an update once I have tried the smaller 8 oz leave in.

Tgin Replenish Conditioner
Similarly, to MICHE, I tried this conditioner before and liked it. But after my recent big trim and deep conditioning treatment. My hair loved and soaked this stuff up.
I used it as a pre-poo, and it may now replace my African Pride Pre-Poo which is my holy grail but contains Glycerin as the second ingredient! My hair has a love and hate relationship with glycerin but the African Pre-Poo has great slip so I make an exception.
Now back to the tgin conditioner- I had enough slip to gently detangle my hair. Then covered my hair with a deep conditioning cap leaving it on for 25 minutes. Afterwards, my hair had so much definition, shine and my hair was so soft! I love products with multi-use!

Camille Rose Naturals Growth Oil
Camille Rose is one of those brands that my hair just loves. I certainly love the growth oil. I am not a huge hair oil girl, but this is the only one I use on my ends and roots for a scalp massage. This oil has amazing benefits and ingredients and smells lovely.
