Eden BodyWorks Coconut Shea Hair Masque 16 oz

I loved the consistency and size that you get with the Eden Bodyworks Shea Masque! To be honest, this is the case with all of their Eden Bodyworks Deep Conditioners. This particular one smells like coconuts and has hints of shea butter.

I really enjoyed the application because this deep conditioner is thick and does not move when tipped upside down.

It applies quite well and provided my curls with a-lot of definition. I certainly felt that my hair was softer but a little stronger after I rinsed it out. A bonus of this conditioner for some naturals is that it is glycerin-free. Overall, I found my hair be more moisturising for my hair after rinse.

The Ingredients

My favourite part about this deep conditioner is that it gives me a good moisture and protein balance. As it includes hydrolysed silk and has humectants and oils such as coconut oil, shea butter and moisturising agents such as Cetyl Alchol.

The benefit of the hydrolysed silk protein is that they can prevent breakage and improve natural hair by deeply penetrating and moisturising hair from within. They also improve hair elasticity to ensure that those curls stay defined and bounce back which is excellent for maintaining healthy hair.

Eden BodyWorks Almond Marshmallow Split End Repair Masque 16 oz

I recently tried the split end masque deep conditioner and I have to say that the packaging is my favourite out of all the Eden Bodyworks deep conditioners. It was highly recommend by my favourite YouTuber JustLostJC so I just had to try it.

Again, the deep conditioner is super thick but has a slightly different more silky texture to it. It smells like a combination of marshmallow, coconut oil and cocoa seed butter.

A noticeable difference here between the deep conditioners is that this one does not include Shea Butter.

The Ingredients

Despite it being a protein deep conditioner, my hair felt very soft but strong upon rinsing. This may be due to the powerful moisturising properties such as Marshmallow Root Extract , Aloe Vera Juice and the moisturising alcohols that do not dry our curls such as Stearyl, Ceteryl and Cetyl. Including of course Sweet Almond Oil, Coconut Oil and Coco Seed Butter.

This product contain the protein Hydrolyzed Adansonia Digitata Seed Extract in order to repair our split ends, by repairing damage and strengthening the hair.

Eden BodyWorks Jojoba Monoi Deep Conditioner 16 oz

The Moni deep conditioner also doesn't contain Shea Butter and any known proteins, this is a moisture based deep conditioner. It has a strong smell of tea tree oil and Moni which isn't the best scent I've ever smelt but the peppermint helps mask the Moni quite well.

The consistency is similar to the Eden Bodyworks Natural Hair Masque and the main difference here is that this one is protein-free.

On application, it went on my hair really well, my curls were very defined which for me personally made it difficult to detangle. However, I was able to run my fingers through and gently finger detangle. The product also appeared to have absorbed into my hair also. After having the product in my hair for over 40 minutes under the dryer, I did feel a tingling sensation from the tea tree leaf oil.

The Ingredients

The Moni Deep conditioner is packed full of moisture, with ingredients such as Jojoba Seed Oil, Carrot Seed Oil, Camomile and Sweet Almond Oil. Best of all, there is absolutely no protein in sight for our protein sensitive curly girls.
